Problem:
Flybondi, a low-cost airline based in Argentina, needed a premium sub-brand that could deliver a first-class experience without straying too far from its existing identity. The challenge was to elevate the brand while maintaining cultural relevance and a visual connection to Flybondi.
Flybondi, a low-cost airline based in Argentina, needed a premium sub-brand that could deliver a first-class experience without straying too far from its existing identity. The challenge was to elevate the brand while maintaining cultural relevance and a visual connection to Flybondi.
Solution:
Flybondi loosely translates to “fly bus,” so I explored what a more elevated version of that could be—leading to the idea of a carriage, or “Carruaje” in Spanish. This became the foundation for the luxury sub-brand. The identity draws from elegant horse-drawn carriages and Argentina’s gaucho (cowboy) culture, blending heritage with sophistication. The upward motion and deep yellow palette nod to Flybondi’s original branding, creating a seamless yet refined extension of the parent brand.
